The Sutton Capital Group story begins in the 1990s, when founder Darren Sutton was a student in college at ECU, East Carolina University, to obtain a Degree in Construction Management. This was the first step of many towards the ultimate vision he had for himself. Quickly out of school, he started building dream homes for families, creating comfortable and welcoming spaces for people to call home. Darren was focused on
building neighborhoods in the Southeast for families that would hold this special place close to their hearts and souls.
While he was successfully accomplishing that vision, Darren was always looking for more. A few years ago, he realized he needed to turn his attention to more ambitious goals. Darren switched his focus to develop the Southeast into the commercial and residential powerhouse he knew it to be. That is how Sutton Capital Group came to be, a company dedicated to developing communities and cities into thriving, beautiful places to live, work and conduct business.
