Dale Olson has worked alongside Darren Sutton for almost two decades as an influential voice of reason. Providing a measured and insightful viewpoint into the building and development process, Dale ensures the operations side of the business is always running at peak levels. Involved in all aspects of home building, Dale has impacted decision making in finance, purchasing, scheduling, land development, budgeting, forecasting, sales and marketing throughout his career in real estate. It’s this experience that makes him an invaluable and critical contributor to the Sutton Capital Group team.

Foregoing a career with Weyerhaeuser Paper Company in 1997, Dale pivoted to real estate where his degree in Operations Management and corporate world skill sets were incredibly applicable. Beginning his new career in general brokerage assisting buyers and sellers, Dale eventually transitioned to new home building, joining Bonterra Builders in 2004.

An integral part of the Bonterra Builders team, Dale grew from On-site Sales to VP of Operations to VP of Sales, allowing him to actively touch almost every side of the business while playing an instrumental role in plotting its future direction. A visible and committed member of the team, Dale’s contributions helped evolve Bonterra from a small private builder to one of the largest in volume in the North and South Carolina markets.

Today, Dale is a key member of the Sutton Capital Group team, helping to determine which projects will benefit not just the company but the communities in which they are developed. Often providing the voice-of-reason and logistical know-how when faced with challenges or set-backs on projects of any size, Dale is quietly but confidently helping Sutton Capital Group become a notable force within the real estate development industry.
